we sail
countdown now for departure on Tuesday morning we raise the moorings and we aim to tortuga. In these hours we still end up the last thousand things (connect the solar panels, galley to replace the rotating macerator, arm genoa, main and mizzen, to stock water, wash the boat, authorize ilsurf on deck, preparing the helm wind, load the satellite and VHF portable, prepare the grab-bag, pick up the raft overhaul, repair the main halyard winch clutch, release the spinnaker halyard taking advantage of a trip up the mast to the face etc. ... the "vacation"!). We split the duties, it is Leon and control the engine room crew.
We sail with Kudra (also for security reasons) and it seems so thrilling match race like last year, may the best win!
A tortuga'll be a couple of days and then off to Los Roques, where you will be Christmas and New Year perhaps, we shall see, depend on how many people there, any mosquito abundance of fish and other place, you can not do a long-term!
The important thing is to be there and live every day as if it proceeded the next day as if it had arrived the day before (sorry but the philosophy is late at night!).
Besos a todos, and the next link
